Excellent book for learning what to look for when purchasing a keyboard or piano, and what to look for in piano movers. The online direction is good if you have some background in reading sheet music, but just enjoy the learning experience of how to play the piano.

A stretch for beginners

As a beginner, I found this book very frustrating. The first six chapters are very straightforward, but I think most beginners will find the exercises on rhythm in chapter 7 almost impossible. To count, foot tap and play notes at the same time is expecting a lot. To even suggest that students have a go at playing "Blue Danube" at the end of the chapter shows that this text is really not suitable for beginners. I found the "Alfred Adult all in One" book much more useful.
